for those that have one take remaining, go for it and give it everything you have. my first take was a 185, so I'm a little of an anomaly, but I'm also I'm proof that you don't have to start high to end high. practice hard, and remind yourself of what you're after constantly. the 200s are achievable if you have the dedication and motivation.

My first take was an 192. I was initially aiming for 200 but gave up hope when I couldn't consistently get that score during my PRs (fluctuated between 195-198). On exam day, everything just fell into place.

yeah, I heard December is usually filled with higher scores because this is when people usually retake, but this month had to be a bit easier, especially compared to November.

- i think one of the most important things when it comes to this test is speed. i know people hate to think that this thing comes down to keyboarding capability/having the ability to type well, but the truth is, if you're not able to navigate atl least somewhat quickly around the keyboard, i don't believe you'll be able to score in the high 190s. i just don't see it happening.

*now i'm not trying to suggest that you need some amount of intelligence to score in the high 190s. i think you need the typing speed. there is a difference. please, let's end the narrative that these scores are somehow correlated with intelligence. I mean, if you want the entirety of your intelligence to be measured by this silly ass test, go right ahead. I'm sure that the most of us on the other hand would want our intelligence to be measured by something much more worthwhile.

I don't know about everyone else but I felt this administration was a little more difficult than November. For one, I don't get what the hype is about; if you look to the power rankings you can see that eight people placed in top 20 in November and ten people did in December. I would say the difficulty was pretty even. Secondly, the randomness is my exam in particular was extreme. It definitely played towards my weaknesses which I felt I couldn't be alone on
