Score cutoff for High Scorers Up to 190?!
As of today the cutoff for high scorers went up to 190! It just increased to 185 from 180 yesterday. Are high scores up by that much? I knew I did well, but now it's a bummer considering everyone else did too. It only makes my score that much less impressive for admissions.

It's because people have gotten higher scores on average. I believe the overall average score increased from a 165 to a 167. Over 100 people score 180+, and I think there's double the amount of 190s compared to last year.

This^. it's now considered standard to score in the 170s. 180s are where the differences are made in regards to acceptances from schools, and the 190s are considered those who score high. I've been around the MSAT community for years -- I remember when it was considered an achievement to score 185. Times have changed

I personally feel like it shouldn't be that high. 190 is a high score and i'm not saying that just because I have a 190 lol
